Technically it’s a splint, and it comes off every day when I’m typing, exercising/stretching/strengthening it, or showering.

The healing has reached the stage where the physio says the splint could come off, but the bone has not entirely knitted together, there’s still a visible fracture, particularly on the edge. He’s concerned that if I fall or have a hard knock, it will break again. So the splint is precautionary. The ortho’s on holidays already, I don’t see him for another month.
