If you want corporate optometry, yes. As an independent, I advise finding an independent optometrist by word of mouth.

Word of mouth is hard right now. With a corporate optometrist there would hopefully be a standard of care. I figure OPSM will try to sell me bells and whistles, but I’m pretty good at resisting that shit.

Ask your housemates. They probably have friends. There is a standard of care nationwide with members of Optometry Australia. And requirements with AHPRA for continuing education etc etc.
