It’s nothing, and everything. It’s been a shit year and I’m glad to be rid of it. But a new year also brings new shittiness and I just want everything to be less shit for a change. Did not think I’d be starting a new year with a still-unhealed arm. I’m away from my family. I’m sad. Frustrated. Annoyed. A bit hungry because I stuffed up dinner because of my stupid arm.

And now I’m going to bed.

Yes it has been an awful year for me too, for the most part. Lots of sorrow and despair and deteriorating health.

But I’m at peace with the world right now. I’ll see in the new year and raise a glass to missing friends.
