I think this is a young one. I’ve been hearing something that sounds like a Kookaburra trying to make the laughing sound recently in the front garden. This one was sitting on the gate this morning. Looks sort of fluffy. The photos worked quite well taken through the bedroom window. I do now wish I’d cleaned the outside as well as the inside of the window a couple of weeks ago though.

It moved when I went outside to see if I could get close.
