No. Told me to “go to Diabetes Australia web site where there is a lot of useful information”. And gave me a prescription for Metformin 500 mg to be taken three times a day with meals (phased in).

I’d recommend asking about it. I think it is covered or partly covered by Medicare but you may need to be referred. Do you know the current procedure for this poik?

Needs a referral to be covered by medicare, I don’t think the dietician is covered, the educator is and usually provides some dietary advice during consult.
