I find myself thinking about repotting my houseplants more than thinking about my essay. The section I’m working on is about autistic learners using different sensory practices (ie stimulation or avoidance) to process and retain information. In particular, one student I’m working with who processes information using scent, so I’ve come up with practical strategies utilising scents in order for him to achieve socio-emotional and learning goals.
