I remember walking the length of the runway at the Moro Mine, Lake Kutubu, in PNG in the early 90’s. The sides of the runway was pretty bushy, like in your photo, but the lights were gloworms. I wish I’d had a decent camera back then.

Plus the bushes snd the gloworms you saw weren’t mass produced plastic junk.
