OK I don’t have a modern car and don’t really care for the finish on it. I wash the headlights and the windscreen.

when I say modern cars I mean car manufactured in the last 30 years.

In fact there are panel shops that are going over to water based automotive paints. they are more environmentally better, no acetone etc as thinners, and better for health.
