Carted 50 tons of sand 60kms to the job site, spread it out, and started compacting. The 800kg compactors drive belt was slipping so I disassembled it and tightened the belt, it was looking worn. After compacting three quarters of the housepad, the belt suffered a RUD and that was the end of my days work.

Drove 60km home and discovered that not only wasn’t a spare v-belt for it, there wasn’t enough C2H5OH in the house, and had to leave home again to restock.
