The CIA has an inviolable rule: do not let the Israelis into the building.

NO Israelis, ever, no matter who they are.

In days gone by, the Israelis would turn up at Langley bearing gifts of various sorts.

When those gifts were examined by the CIA, they invariably contained listening/monitoring devices of some kind.

When confronted with this, the Israelis were always ha, ha, it was a joke, habibi, we wanted to see if you’d spot it, pretty funny, huh?

Yeah, pretty funny.

Now, no Israelis allowed in at Langley. All briefings etc. with Israelis done ‘off site’.
