Yes. no surprises there. The Achilles heal of AI is going to be its power consumption. It is going to require a massive investment and buildout of electricity generation infrastructure. Exactly where that energy comes from is going to be a critical question. AI is going to place enormous demands on existing grids, so there is a push for AI companies to be made to power their own data centres. Whether they do it all legally with the proper permits and such is another question, as is the carbon footprint of these things.
