I woke up to a text from my Brisbane brother. He was at the cardiovascular clinic for a “minor matter with the old ticker!” and needed my address for next of kin notifications. Brisbane brother is a very withdrawn soul, the only sibling I have any contact with. So, now I’m worried.

He’s having a colonoscopy on Wednesday, a regular check up. I reminded him that mother dearest had angina.
