The dog had, we thought, a lovely temperament. Been with us for a couple of weeks. Dog excelled at throw ball fetch ball.. throw ball fetch ball.. throw ball fetch ball..
I was getting some horse dinners together in the stables. My daughter and her friend, about 12 yo, were mucking about nearby. The friend reached out from front on to pat the dog on the head.. wrong move. Got about 1” gash under the eye.
We found an old bushie living alone up the Hunter Valley who took the dog.. they got on great.
You never can tell with stray dogs.
