OMG the benefits of having an excellent espresso machine in the house used by an experienced barista. Daughter-in-law made me flat white and it was amazing. I only have a coffee once every now and then, but when I do…it’s Australian and perfect. The beans are local.
A question about coffee in the USA.
TV would have us believe its coffee that’s pre-brewed and sits in a pot and served as required.
Is that accurate or do you get barista coffee made fresh with all the variations we have here.
I’d assume if cafes, etc served bottomless coffee its going to be cheap stuff
There is both. The brewed pot is more common in most restaurants, diners etc. Starbucks is widespread and the coffee is sort of okay. I had to request a double shot to make up for the strength and get the milk temp lower, as they tend to overheat the milk.
Some great cafés popped up around Cruces, serving great local beans.
Like most things American, added flavours are the big thing. Syrups, creamery. Also whipped cream stuff and sprinkles.
