Grocery shopping today, dunno if I’m well enough. Slept fairly well last night but I’ve developed a cough which wasn’t present the last two days.

Today marks exactly six months since I broke my arm. The last hurdle is full supination and I’ve made excellent progress in the last month with no thanks to anyone but myself. I can lift a full watering can with that arm, which is about 9kgs. I only measure these things because I know the ortho will ask me next week.

Great discipline on helping yourself!

My wrist is a bit stiff. The ortho says I should have full ROM so he prescribed more sessions with the hand therapist. The hand therapist shrugged me off, saying he doesn’t know what else to do.

So I pinpointed the ligaments preventing ROM, used heat and massage til they loosened. They felt like guitar strings, they were so tight.

I expect my appointments next week with both of them to be my last.
