You don’t think there is competition in the wine industry? The markup on most food and beverage products from the farm to the consumer is similar and is simply a reflection on how value-adding works in the economy.

I understand all of that. But I do need it explained to me how the cost of washing and recycling the bottles can’t be worn by the wineries. It is a substantially smaller cost than cleaning up the wastes costs the rest of the taxpayers.
