I can’t get photos as good as that with my proper camera. How do these people do this?

Post production on the computer. And a special way of layering multiple photos to get depth of focus. I don’t pretend to understand it.

Steve Axford’s book Planet Fungi describes how he does it. And I think he does online workshops and stuff too.
