If its a personality disorder or just outright deception.
Are their versions of events real to them
I have family members whose recall of events is quite different to what happened backed up by witnesses.
They are insistent and never vary that their recall of events is true.
So are they lying or did it unfold in their mind the way they recall due to personality problems.
It makes it very hard to support them when you aren’t sure if what they say happened did and you yourself aren’t there
Film the interaction.
That is an option
Say with Trump if he was confronted with video evidence of him outright lying would he find a way in his mind to dismiss it.
Either by lying its fake or is he is so delusional it doesn’t even register and forms part of the narrative of persecution of him.
He seems quite unstable and talks and acts in a manner that’s unacceptable to people with morals
Because he’s president he gets away with it, if he was a man in the street he’d be sent for psychiatric observatrion.
Its quite fascinating as he’s a man that can start a war and implement policies that affect millions detrimentally and very little can be done.
