Night night, you mob. I’m off to bed. We are going to the bush tomorrow. I’m planning a walk of around 3km. This may take anything from an hour to two hours. I’m hoping to be waylaid by fringed hare orchids and Parson’s bands (another winter orchid) and with a bit of luck a variety of fungi. I intend to collect some fungi (if they are about) and bring them home to scatter amongst my native plants in the garden. Maybe I can “seed” (yes, I know fungi don’t have seeds) my home garden with some of them. I’ve had a couple of different ones come up over the years that I can only imagine came in as spores on the bark of our firewood.
