I have a Shatki Mat this is hundreds of plastic spikes that you lie on.
Takes a few minutes were its uncomfortable but after that is actually quite restful.
the other day I went to a pilates stretch session .. I haven’t used a roller before, but this time they did, and it was so uncomfortable while using it, but later that day the benefits of having these muscles ‘rolled’ out felt amazing.. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s not unlike a deep tissue massage with the added benefit of not having to be touched by anyone. Anyway.. it was good.. so I am open to trying new things that don’t tip my cynicism scale too much..
now that I seem to be on the mend again and getting back to some sort of normal… thank goodness
