I remember him from hosting ABC afternoons on tv, introducing classic shows like Monkey.

Brendan (my other dead son) wrote to him when James was doing that. JV sent back a lovely letter and a signed photograph.

And he was one of the Doug Anthony All Stars, a cutting edge satire-comedy group.

Plus of course, he did “Conversations” on the wireless.

I remember him from the Doug Athony All Stars! One of them went to my university.
