When Mrs V had her sandwich shop the (then newly appointed) Health Inspector (who in a previous life had been quite a decent bloke) became a power-hungry, nit-picking little Hitler. It was insufficient to wash her chopping boards regularly, they had to be bleached every half hour. Etc Etc. So many things. Every time. Always immaterial.
