Being grumpy because you think too much, I think is a very normal place to go right now. It shows you are paying attention.

Can you take brain breaks? Sometimes I can, but sometimes I can’t.

I feel it is terribly sad that everything involves money, possessions or power and their pursuit. One third of Australians are now seeking food assistance. That is just insane given, when I taught for OzHarvest, I taught that Australia produces twice the amount of food required for our population. I spent some time collecting food from Coles and Woollies and redistributing, as well as doing corporate events, where a corporate group would come and cook meals for 300 people.

So many hungry people in Australia. It contributes to unproductive in the classroom. Hungry kids don’t learn.
