I’m all dressed up for the march. Taken anti-inflammatories, aspirin, and have a few spare in my pocket.
The marching part is ok, but each year it gets more painful to stand for an hour and I find myself having to use a chair that I think should be for older people.
Then the long walk back to where I parked the car. Luckily there is a pub in the way, so we’re going to find some painkiller in there before heading back to the station.
