Today was one of those rare days where you get to see a lot of medals. Some unassuming people that you talk to regularly suddenly surprise you with a chest full of Vietnam war medals. Even today, one of the only two active life members in our brigade had extra medals on. I’ve known him for 15 years, and we work together at least once a fortnight, but he’s never mentioned his service in Kuwait or the middle east, wtf?
