I think it’s time to go and read and siesta. I finished Sam Kean’s book on the race for a nuclear bomb during WW2 (“The Bastard Brigade”) and am now rereading “The Icepick surgeon: Murder, Fraud, Sabotage, Piracy and other Dastardly Deeds Perpetrated in the Name of Science”. I see he has written a couple more that I haven’t got yet, so I’ll visit the bookshop next time I go to Hamilton. “Dinner with King Tut: How Rogue Archaeologists Are Re-creating the Sights, Sounds, Smells, and Tastes of Lost Civilizations” and “The Museum of Lost Things: True Tales of Fabled Treasures, Legendary Cities, and Mythical Creatures That Vanished From History”. I quite like his writing style.
