Katter and his son-in-law have been angling to water down the gun laws for some years now.

You wonder if the Katters want any gun laws at all. Maybe no gun laws would suit them. I think Bob wants to shoot people based on his anxiety, get away from me, how dare you get near me, he has anxiety on what is said to him too, how dare you say that, do not say that….gets gun….

Guns are fun in computer games, most people have absolutely no need for one in real life.
Target shooting perhaps.
Humans aren’t mature enough for them, we will of course misuse them.
Claims for self defence already indicate how broken your society must be if that’s your reasoning.
