In a surprise development during the State visit of the United Kingdom’s King Charles III to the United States, the British Monarch bestowed a British Order of Chivalry, an “OBE”- the Order of the British Empire, upon US President Donald Trump.

Seldom bestowed upon a foreign national, HRH King Charles presented the highest rank of “Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (GBE)” to President Trump at a special ceremony held at the British Embassy in Washington.

While the “Knight Grand Cross” makes the US President a Knight, he will be precluded from using the honorific designation of “Sir” because he is a foreign national.

The presentation of the medal of office to Trump, including the traditional “laying on” of the King’s sword on the US President’s shoulder, was performed in the garden of the British Embassy, witnessed by a select audience that included Chargé d’Affaires James Roscoe, the interim ambassador to the USA, following the abrupt dismissal of Ambassador Peter Mendelson over new revelations regarding his past association with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The investiture of Trump’s knighthood took place outside the British ambassador’s residence in front of a statue of the late Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. The statue stands with one foot planted on Embassy grounds, while the other stands within the District of Columbia. This placement symbolizes Churchill’s Anglo-American parentage (his father was British, his mother American) and his status as an honorary citizen of the United States.

In presenting Trump with his Knighthood, with tongue firmly in cheek, HRH King Charles III explained that Knighthoods are reserved for individuals who may have rendered, or shall hereafter render, important services to the British Empire. King Charles spotlighted Trump’s contributions in helping to further the wartime goals established with the 1814 Burning of Washington, during which troops under the command of Rear Admiral George Cockburn burned and ransacked large areas of the US Capitol Building and the White House.

King Charles III said that President Trump’s heroic demolition of the White House East Wing and Rose Garden and personal precipitation of the storming of the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, by a mob of Republican supporters, spoke volumes of Trump’s commitment to diligently carry on the unfinished work commenced in 1814 with the burning of Washington.

Everyone is feeding his delusions. He has access to the nuke codes folks! You are not helping!
