Depression in seniors is not unusual. See your GP.

In the past I have tried many anti-depressants (depression has been an ongoing issue). Every one has either had really nasty side effects, or didn’t work at all.

Do you think your personality is a depressive type ?
I don’t find anti depressants work well myself and the sadness is part of who I am.
I don’t ever remember a time without it in the background colouring everything.
