Yes, that was the whole reason. I’m currently borrowing son#2’s super dooper power board and he needs it back for winter’s storms. He has a lot of gear he wants to protect.
I invested a few $$ in a good electric recliner, Lorelie, because my lower back is fucked, so I don’t want my chair to blow up. It requirest at least 1,000 joules worth of protection. Ordinary boards don’t have that level of protection.
