There must be some speed below which the camera will not register that the car is a car, so it won’t record it passing.

On the basis that I assumed the cameras were “triggered” by moving objects, but there is a possibility that isn’t actually correct I suppose.

they are triggered by moving objects in that you have to move to within the range set on the camera so it wouldn’t matter how slow you went because at some point you would come within range.
