Yeah. Once you see that it is all made up you can’t unsee it. I have great difficulty in respecting these beliefs. Same goes with all the Christianist Rapture Ready crowd.

You cannot make a believer into a non-believer through counselling or anything like that. For example, there are some people who survived Waco that still revere David Koresh and think that he will return resurrected, while others are have seen the error of their ways and reject him as a conman.
