That is around 6km from our covenant, and the wind is pushing it our way. We aren’t there and can’t do anything about it anyway, but I really should keep my mouth shut.

I heard about that! My first reaction was, what the hell is a super El Niño? I assume it’s another meaningless weather term.
El Niño is not a meaningless term. It is a known pattern that brings drought to the eastern side of Australia. Generally considered bad. A super Niño is just a particularly severe one, and therefore bader.
