No, it’s quite significant. The El Niño is warm water in the eastern Pacific Ocean that dumps it heat energy into western north & south America’s. It’ll mean a hotter summer and wilder weather for them.

Yeah it might be a journo elaboration, but it appears to be otherwise valid. The data they’re getting shows that it’s going to be the strongest ever,
