As a kid, I lived on the other side of the hill to Lake Albert. Used to go swimming there though. Never really like the slimy feel of the muddy bottom.

We swam in the main and other canals. When they used to cut the water off in winter, the main canal had mud that would come up to your crotch. Really difficult to walk in. Need help to get out.
