And we are at Kinda in our Doctor Who watch.

A memorably spooky one.
The previous story ended on a cliffhanger with Nyssa passing out. They’ve lands on a random planet to help sort her out. They encounter a landing party assessing the suitability of the planet for colonisation. A supernatural snake entity, the Kinda, traps Tegan for much of the story.

I recognise a few of the cast, including :

Nerys Hughes of Liverbirds fame.

Richard Todd, who was in Dam Busters and indeed got an Oscar nomination for The Hasty Heart. He really did have a long and happy career on stage and screen. Here he plays a rather gung ho colonialist, complete with pith helmet.

Mary Morris also had a good 50 year career in the performing arts, quite a lot of Shakespearian stuff and period pieces but also science fiction.

Jeff Stewart who played Reg Ollis on The Bill for 25000 episodes or something and much else.

Fair to say they didn’t skimp on the cast, which apparently didn’t leave much money for the snakey special effects.

They revisit the Kinda later on don’t they
Is that the one were men are considered idiots and the doctor is told to be quiet
