No, it’s quite significant. The El Niño is warm water in the eastern Pacific Ocean that dumps it heat energy into western north & south America’s. It’ll mean a hotter summer and wilder weather for them.

I know what El Niño is, I was talking about a “super” El Niño.

A very strong or severe El Niño. When sea temperatures rise by more than 2C. So it is measurable and quantifiable. Probably most serious meteorologists would use less emotionally loaded words.
