It looks like the first gutter the truck runs over would take it out.

They are bought from the truck maker as a cab chassis, and then converted into a fire truck. The original truck is basically a highway hauler so the low bumper makes it a bit more aerodynamic. Also this type of appliance isn’t allowed to go offroad.

It’d be nice to have a bit more clearance. Whoever signed off on the purchase of the original cab-chassis deserves to be treated in an unspeakable manner somehow…
