A few days ago, i got a call (with sub-continental accent) from ‘Eric, from Telstra NBN’.

I expressed surprise that they were still using that creaky old scam, as everyone was wise to it now. I suggested to ‘Eric’ that i had a couple of good scripts for new scams, and that if he presented them to his employers, he’d get hefty kudos and maybe a promotion.

‘Eric’ was somewhat interested, and we’d got to the point where i was about to tell him about buying the gift cards for payment for the scripts, when he seemed to twig that i was trying to scam him, and he hung up.
